Handsome PAULIE is a 3 year old, 11 pound Shih Tzu, who would do well in a quiet adult home. While in his foster home, we are seeing his true happy-go-lucky Shih Tzu personality starting to emerge. PAULIE needs a securely fenced yard, for his safety and enjoyment, as he loves to enjoy the outdoors in the fenced area in his temporary foster home. PAULIE is doing well with his housetraining with his foster mom home with him during the day to keep him on a schedule. You should always expect a period of adjustment when going to a new home. A new stay-at-home or works-from-home owner would be desired to help keep him on his schedule. Since coming into rescue, PAULIE has required the following vet care: he had his blood panel and fecal checked, was neutered, had a dental cleaning, had his distemper combination with lepto and booster, bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, was microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea preventative. If you meet the above requirements and think your home is the one for PAULIE, the first step is to contact us by email (NOT using the Petfinder link as we have difficulty receiving those inquiries) so send the email to: aboutrescuedogs@aol.com and tell us about your family situation and explain why you think your home would be a good match for PAULIE. We will also require the name and phone number of your vet clinic as a reference so phone ahead and advise them we will be calling. If PAULIE appears online as adoptable, he is still available. PAULIE will be shown at a meet and greet after approved application completion. His adoption fee is $500 and includes a collar, leash, harness, toys, crate, food and more!
