📌 PLEASE READ FIRST Robin is currently locally fostered and available for meet-and-greets in New England. To be considered, a complete written adoption application must be submitted first. 📝 Apply to Adopt Robin https://forms.gle/UmpfbgmydH7igSdN7 📸 More Photos & Videos (Google Album) https://photos.app.goo.gl/9ud8zCYMWVFCuxsL9 All approved adopters begin with a two-week trial and monitoring period to ensure a safe, thoughtful, and long-term match and that Robin’s needs and well-being are fully supported. 💛 Adoption Fee: $650 Includes neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, veterinary exam, international health certificate, pre-departure veterinary care, and transportation to the U.S. Robin is a 2-year-old neutered male, about 20 kg (~44 lbs), with a social, athletic, and deeply affectionate personality. He was rescued alongside his brother Batman from an overcrowded municipal kill shelter in Korea. Batman has already found his forever family, and now Robin is waiting for his turn. Robin is the kind of dog who makes himself part of your everyday life. He does not need constant entertainment or nonstop attention. He simply wants to be near his people — following you from room to room, relaxing nearby while you work, and happily joining you on daily adventures. 🌿 Personality • Extremely people-friendly and affectionate • Confident and social with new people • Silly, goofy, playful, and emotionally expressive • Smart, curious, and very environmentally engaged • Athletic outdoors but calm and cuddly at home once exercised • May excitedly greet people with brief jumping or “body bumping” when very happy 👨👩👧 With People & Children • Friendly with men, women, and respectful older children • Loves affection and physical closeness • Enjoys quietly existing near his humans without being overly demanding • Best with people comfortable around a medium-large energetic dog • Because he can become physically excited when greeting people, homes with very frail elderly individuals or very small children may not be ideal 🐶 With Other Dogs • Very social and playful with other dogs • Adjusts his play style based on the other dog’s energy and personality • Usually respectful with more vocal or reactive dogs • Can become slightly bossy with familiar dog friends • Best not paired with highly dominant or confrontational dogs • Friendly with small dogs, though continued work on body awareness and strength control is important 🐱 With Cats • Will attempt to chase cats outdoors • Not recommended for homes with cats 🚶 Exercise & Lifestyle Robin thrives when he has a balance of activity, companionship, and structure. Current routine: • Weekdays: 30–50 minute morning walk + 1–2 hour evening walk • Weekends: multiple outings including dog park visits and outdoor adventures He loves: • Long walks • Sniffing and exploring • Dog playtime • Outdoor adventures • Running and social outings • Car rides and accompanying his humans everywhere Once his physical and mental needs are met, he is perfectly content curling up nearby and relaxing for the rest of the day. 🏠 Home Behavior • Calm indoors when exercised appropriately • Loves lounging on couches and beds with family • Nearly 100% outdoor potty trained • Non-destructive when routine and management are maintained • Very intelligent and curious — if left loose while alone, he may investigate counters, shelves, or even learn how to open sliding doors 🧠 Separation Anxiety & Crate Training This is the most important thing potential adopters should understand about Robin. Robin forms deep attachments to his people, and being left alone can still feel difficult and stressful for him. • Separation anxiety is present and should be taken seriously • Currently supported with anxiety medication • Crating while home alone has been extremely important for his success and emotional regulation • When left alone crated, he may initially bark, howl, or try to settle himself • When people are home, he willingly enters the crate and relaxes calmly • Eats meals in his crate and often chooses to rest there voluntarily With consistency, companionship, enrichment, and structure, Robin truly thrives. 👉 Robin would do best in a home where: • Someone is home often, OR • He can attend daycare, OR • He can accompany his person to work, OR • He is not routinely left alone for very long hours 🍽 Diet & Health • Currently eating Hill’s Sensitive Stomach & Skin • No confirmed allergies • Eats enthusiastically and is highly food motivated • Preventatives up to date (Heartgard 3/23, topical preventative 3/25) 🩺 Ear Care • Floppy ears prone to ear infections • Routine lifelong ear cleaning is important (common for floppy-eared dogs) 🚗 Car Rides • Excellent passenger • Jumps into the car on his own • Settles quickly and rides comfortably 🛁 Grooming & Handling • Tolerates baths and brushing well • Nervous about nail trims but non-aggressive • Responsive and cooperative overall 🧸 Favorite Activities • Playing with dogs • Plush toys and interactive games • Outdoor adventures • Running and exploring • Being included in everyday life with his humans 🛟 Ideal Home • Active adopters who genuinely enjoy walks and outdoor time • A home committed to structure and consistency • Someone willing to continue managing his separation anxiety thoughtfully • Either as an only dog or with a socially appropriate dog companion • People who want a true companion dog involved in daily life 💬 The Reality Robin is not a low-maintenance dog. He is deeply social, emotionally connected to his humans, and happiest when included in everyday life. His separation anxiety is manageable and already improving with the right routine, but adopters must be realistic and committed to continuing that support. 💛 Why Robin Robin is one of those dogs who makes people fall in love very quickly. He is affectionate, soulful, goofy, adventurous, and incredibly devoted. With the right structure and companionship, he becomes an amazing adventure buddy, couch companion, and best friend all in one.
