Max is a super sweet boy, but anyone considering meeting him must understand he has boundaries and strong ones. Max was not treated well by younger children in his home, so a home with kids (or grandkids) under 16 years old will not be considered. He will warn you with a growl if he doesn't care for something. Max does take some time to trust, you have to be extremely patient and let him come to you and ask for attention. He is an entertaining little guy - he loves to sit in the window in the sun. Max enjoys the company of all sizes of dogs and does well with chill cats - if they run from him, he will chase them. Max does well with regular grooming - he sees his girlfriends once a month for grooming.
