Meet Mr. Snorts, a delightful senior Boston Terrier who is 11 years old and weighs 22 pounds. He needs a loving home after his mom was placed in a nursing home. Currently living in foster care in McCook, NE, Mr. Snorts is a true companion who thrives on being near his person. He’s a gentle soul with a love for snuggles. His adaptable nature shines through, especially as he enjoys being a close presence to the women in the home, often referred to as a velcro shadow. Mr. Snorts is crate trained and rarely barks, except to let you know he needs a potty break, or when he spots chickens. He doesn’t know many commands but understands "No" and "Down", and he tries his best to respond to "Be quiet". Despite having a cataract in his left eye, he sees well with his right. This lovable guy enjoys his braided rope toy, his blanket, and, most importantly, his human. He’s house trained and leash trained, and rides well in the car. Mr. Snorts loves the company of cats, older children, and adults, making him a great fit for various households. However, he prefers not to be alone for long periods. He has some allergies, particularly to eggs, but enjoys raw zucchini and carrots as treats. Mr. Snorts is confident and outgoing with strangers, making him a joy to be around.
