Meet Filippa! Filippa is a 4-year-old Bichon Frise with the sweetest face and an even sweeter heart. This little cuddle bug will happily follow her person from room to room, always wanting to be close to the ones she loves most. Filippa can be timid when meeting new people and will need a patient adopter who will give her time to build trust and confidence. She seems especially shy around men at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines through. She quickly settles into a routine of naps, cuddles, meals, yard time, potty breaks, and even more cuddles. And if the petting ever stops, she’ll gently lift her little paw to ask for more love. This beautiful girl is laid back, easygoing, and happiest curled up in her person’s lap. She does occasionally get the happy zoomies and may bark at the doorbell, but overall she has a calm and gentle temperament. Filippa is spayed, fully vetted, crate trained, and does well with house training when kept on a consistent feeding schedule. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she would also do well as an only dog in a calm home. Because of her timid nature, she would do best with older children who can respect her space and help her continue building confidence.
