About Peter
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Peter is looking for a loving home where he can finally enjoy the happiness he deserves. At about 2½ years old and weighing 61 pounds, this large Poodle was rescued from a challenging situation and surrendered to caring hands. When he first arrived, Peter was in rough shape—matted, flea-ridden, and very thin—but his gentle and sweet nature was immediately evident. Since receiving dedicated care, Peter has blossomed into a joyful and affectionate companion. He loves meeting new people and gets along famously with every dog he meets, spreading joy wherever he goes. The shelter staff have truly loved spending time with him and know he will make a wonderful addition to any family that cherishes him. While Peter’s house training status can’t be guaranteed, he comes fully vetted with spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, fecal and blood tests, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, plus a complimentary wellness exam after adoption. Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of the Animal Hope facility. Whether you have questions or are ready to schedule a meet and greet, Peter is a special boy eager for a fresh start in a loving home. Did you know his birthday makes him a Virgo?
