About Chris Partridge Family
Chris is the kind of dog who wins you over before you realize it. This sweet, clever, and food-motivated boy loves learning new things as long as there’s a routine he can count on. Most days, he’s mellow and content to occupy himself with chew toys, but he still fits in a daily burst of zoomies and goofy puppy antics before settling back into cuddle mode. Chris enjoys exploring the woods, playing fetch, and being around his people—the more snacks and training time, the better. Like many young dogs, he’s still working on his confidence and manners, and can get mouthy and overexcited during play. Because of this, a home without small children is the best fit for him at this point. Chris is making progress with leash skills, car rides, and crate training—his intelligence and responsiveness shine with patient practice. His current foster home adores him and continues helping him build great habits. Chris’s training has already started and is sponsored, making it easy for a committed adopter to keep up his momentum. Give him structure and time, and you’ll have a loyal companion with a ton of heart. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

Questions about Chris Partridge Family
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chris, a mixed-breed dog with Alaskan Malamute and Labrador Retriever heritage, does best in an engaged home where he can get regular interaction, training, and exercise. A home with access to outdoor adventures would keep him happy.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chris will benefit from a yard to play in or frequent walks, as his mixed background leans toward active, outdoorsy breeds. Regular outdoor time is important for his physical and mental well-being.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While Chris gets along with children, he is still learning manners and can get mouthy when excited, so a home with older kids rather than small children is recommended until he masters gentle play.
