Welcome our Typhoonie Scooter YKD #120! He survived Typhoon Halong and made it safely to Bethel thanks to the valiant efforts of some volunteer pilots. His owners have surrendered him and he landed softly with his awesome foster, Tom. Tom says he's doing great and he even gets to sleep in bed with him. Scooter LOVES being pet and getting attention. He's a little rough around the edges but he's a good boy. We can't wait to see him shine with a family of his own. He uses the doggie door and has had no accidents. He plays really well with his foster brother, Bronco (KPAL Bronco! ). Too interested in cats, so maybe not best in a home with cats. He eats like a horse if you let him so he's using a slow feeder. Not use to being on leash, but is doing better. He is still getting used to his name. And has really adapted to being inside. Before considering adding a dog to your family, please note that KPAL Rescue has a mandatory process in place which includes a home visit. We do not ship our animals and we do not allow for third-party transportation. KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (age-appropriately vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper & Rabies, microchipped, spayed/neutered, dewormed, etc.).
