She's the kind of companion who will hang out nearby, keeping you company with her quiet, thoughtful presence while she observes everything with those curious eyes. She's a dedicated snuggler when it comes to her siblings, but she also really appreciates her "me time," often finding a quiet spot to observe the world with her thoughtful, independent spirit. Because Lyra is so social at heart, she needs to be adopted with a sibling or join a home with another young, playful cat. We focus on pairing kittens because it's vital for their emotional and physical growth. Having a buddy to wrestle and chase with helps them burn off that famous kitten energy, but it also teaches them cat manners--like how to play without being too rough. For you, it means a more confident, well-adjusted companion who always has a friend to lean on when you aren't home. Lyra is an adaptable girl who would likely do very well in a home with a cat-friendly dog. She'd also be a great fit for a family with children aged 5 and up who know how to be gentle and respectful of a kitten's space.
