About Henrietta
Meet Henri-etta, a 9-year-old lady with a big personality and even more to say! If you're looking for a quiet, wallflower type of cat, Henri-etta is not your girl. She is a fiery, vocal companion who isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she's thinking or when it's time for some attention. Henri-etta knows her worth and has made it clear that she wants to be the only kitty in her forever home. She is looking for a kingdom where she can be the sole center of attention and the undisputed queen of the castle. While she can coexist with a very gentle, cat-savvy dog, she would thrive best in a home with adults or children aged 12 and older who appreciate a cat with some spirit and a lot of character. Henri-etta is a resilient girl who is currently stable and feeling great. She has a working diagnosis of Chronic GI Disease (IBD vs. GI Lymphoma), which is managed through a consistent routine. To keep her tummy happy and her energy up, she needs a specific prescription diet, such as Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein, and takes a daily oral B12 supplement. She is currently doing wonderful on a low dose of steroids, which we are in the process of tapering off over the coming weeks. If she is adopted before this process is complete, Caring for Cats will continue to provide financial assistance for her follow-up check-ups at our partner veterinary clinic during the remainder of the tapering period. While Henri-etta may experience occasional "flare-ups" in the future that require veterinary intervention or a temporary return to medication, this condition is very manageable! Additionally, she had a successful dental procedure in early 2026 and will simply require yearly dental check-ups to monitor her health moving forward. Henri-etta isn't just looking for a house; she is looking for a home where her fiery spirit and vocal charms are celebrated. If you're ready for a one-of-a-kind companion who will truly keep life interesting, Henri-etta is waiting to meet you! Her adoption fee is $200. *To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.* Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
