About Comet

Meet Comet! If there is a game of tag or a wrestling match happening, you can bet Comet is leading the charge. This five-month-old orange tabby is the definition of a social butterfly, spending nearly all his time shadowed by his siblings. He has that classic, sunny orange cat energy--always ready to play, always looking for a friend, and always bringing a sense of fun into the room. Whether he's chasing a feather wand or just tumbling around with his buddies, Comet is at his happiest when he's part of a crew. Because he is such a social guy, Comet needs to be adopted with one of his siblings or move into a home that already has a young, playful cat waiting for a partner-in-crime. We really emphasize kittens growing up together because it's the best way to ensure they stay happy and well-adjusted. Having a feline friend gives them a constant outlet for all that kitten zoomie energy and teaches them "cat manners," like how to keep their claws in during a play session. For a human family, this is actually less work--two kittens keep each other busy and entertained, so you get to focus on the best part: the double snuggles! Comet's outgoing personality means he'd likely be a great fit for a home with a cat-friendly dog, and he'd be a blast for a family with kids five and older who want a playful little buddy to grow up with. If you're looking for a vibrant, friendly kitten who will fill your home with life and laughter, Comet is ready to launch into his forever home with you! His adoption fee is $250. *To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.* Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
