MEET WALLACE! STATS: 8 years old, neutered, Chihuahua Mix, 8 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I would like a moment to explain my thoughts on affection and exerting energy – sure, I'm a nice guy! I like to trot around, I walk great on leash, and I go do my business outside. Beyond that, who needs exercise? I am 8 pounds of lean Chihuahua legs and I don’t need to be a body builder. As far as affection goes, I enjoy pets but I really don’t need to be coddled – we are both adults and can be respectful of each other’s space. I love a good head scratch, but please... Let’s act our age. Once I get to know you though, I do become very affectionate! I just need to feel you out first. WHAT I LOVE: I really love relaxing and doing my own thing. You don’t need to pick me up and move me around – I can get where we’re going by myself and I don’t need help. If I require assistance, I will let you know. That being said, I absolutely LOVE a comfy bed where I can peacefully snooze the day away. I am totally fine with other dogs that possess morals similar to mine – mutual respect and space. KIDS: I would prefer a home with adults. OTHER DOGS: I go to playgroup with the other smaller dogs and keep to myself. I appreciate that they let me do my own thing and don’t get in my face. If they do, I will gently but firmly correct their indiscretions. CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I would be perfectly happy in a calm, quiet, and mature home where I can live out my best years in comfort and relaxation. I don’t need much! A safe place to sleep, a snuggly bed, and a few stuffy toys to lay with. If you are looking for some quiet company without all the baggage, I might be just the guy for you!
