Kobe is a small, brown and white Chihuahua/Basenji mix living at Destination Home Puppy Rescue. He has a short coat and is an affectionate, smart companion. Kobe is both crate and potty trained, making him a wonderful addition to the right home.

Kobe is a friendly little guy who came to rescue after being surrendered as a young puppy due to a severe facial infection his previous family couldn’t afford to treat. Thanks to compassionate veterinary care, Kobe made a full recovery and is now thriving with no reason to believe the infection will ever return. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, big and small, and enjoys playful moments as much as he loves cuddling up with his people. Kobe is both crate trained and potty trained, and his intelligence makes him highly trainable! While Kobe does well in most situations, he is afraid of thunderstorms and benefits from wearing a Thundershirt during storms to help him feel safe. He prefers relaxing at home or in the yard rather than going on long walks. Older children (over age 8) would be a good match for him. Kobe currently shares his foster home with another small dog, Faith, and they adore each other; the pair can be adopted together or separately, and either would bring joy to a household.
