Kobe is a small, young male with a short brown and cream coat, currently fostered in Fort Mill, SC. He’s neutered, house trained, and blends Chihuahua and Basenji traits. Kobe is bright and responsive to training, and has bounced back fully from an early medical setback.

About Kobe

Kobe came to the rescue as a young puppy, surrendered with a badly swollen face due to an infection his owner couldn’t afford to treat. After a round of antibiotics, steroids, pain management, and medicated baths, he bounced back completely. There’s no indication the infection will return. Kobe gets along well with other dogs—big and small. He’s playful, smart, and always up for snuggling after a good romp. He’s both crate and house trained, and picks up new things quickly. Kobe prefers being in the yard or at home rather than going for walks, and kids over 8 years old are his ideal match. He’s got a quirk: thunderstorms spook him, so he’ll need a Thundershirt during storms to take the edge off. Kobe is currently fostered with Faith, another small dog he adores. They’d thrive adopted together or separately, and will both make great companions. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
