Rudy is a 3-year-old pointer/cattle dog mix with a heart as big as his ears. This handsome boy was found as a stray in Huntingburg in very rough shape, but after spending nearly a month with us getting the care and love he needed, he is finally ready to make his debut and start looking for a family of his own. Rudy is still extremely underweight, so he is currently available as a foster-to-adopt placement for a local family only. He will need weekly weight checks with us to make sure he continues gaining steadily and stays on the right track. Despite everything he has been through, Rudy has remained incredibly sweet and gentle. He recently met some children and did great with them. He has not yet been introduced to other dogs or cats, so we are still learning more about him. Rudy is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him heal and thrive. We can already tell this boy has so much love left to give.
