But it’s not all doom and gloom; under the expert care of Illinois Birddog Rescue, Daisy has made remarkable progress! 🐾 Daisy's personality is as bright as her name suggests! She’s slowly discovering the joys of playtime with other dogs and can be seen frolicking in the yard with a happy-go-lucky wiggle that warms the heart. 💖 Currently wading through her recovery, she’s timid and simply needs a little encouragement to come out of her shell. Her favorite spots are her cozy bed and the couch, so patience is required as she learns the world isn’t as scary as it once seemed. While she’s still mastering the dog door, Daisy is housebroken and communicates her needs beautifully. This delightful girl walks with a prance that says she's all about style, and when it comes to treats, she takes them ever-so-gently – it's simply adorable! She’s also made it clear that she gets along swimmingly with other dogs and even shows an indifference to cats. 🐶😺 While playtime hasn’t fully taken off yet, Daisy loves to snuggle and can often be found curled up next to her furry friends. On the food front, she’s a bit of a diva – only the best for our girl! 🥳 She prefers her kibble mixed with canned food but has a keen nose for tasty human snacks.
