Fenrir
AvailableFenrir is a German Shepherd Dog with a striking black and brown coat, currently living in Oak Park, IL. As an adult neutered male, he is vaccinated and house trained. He has a large frame and, with his loyal and sensitive personality, will be a standout companion.
About Fenrir
Fenrir is a large, sweet soul with a gentle and sensitive approach to life. Instantly welcoming to those he meets, he quickly forms strong connections and has an undeniable presence. Fenrir was left outside the shelter one morning, but he adjusted fast and now feels right at home. Training is ongoing—he’s sharp and eager to learn proper manners, though leash walks are still a work in progress and will need consistent, positive reinforcement. Fenrir is housebroken and handles his size gracefully around the shelter. He does not do well with cats and should not go to a home with them, as he will chase or frighten any feline roommates. His sociability with other dogs or children isn’t known yet, so introductions should be slow and thoughtful if those are part of your home. Fenrir is happiest when surveying the yard and appreciates pets—especially on his big head. He startles easily, so gentle guidance builds his confidence. Ready to meet your new best friend?
