About Shelby
Shelby is pure, boundless energy in a large, playful body. Part German Shepherd Dog and Coonhound, she lights up any room with her curiosity and happy, upbeat spirit. This friendly girl adores people and gets along with every dog she meets—her social side is hard to miss. She spent her first year in foster care after being rescued from an overcrowded facility in rural Kentucky, growing up in the company of her siblings. Now the last of her litter waiting for a forever home, Shelby has matured into an active, affectionate companion full of potential. Shelby loves adventures and will keep pace with any family that enjoys staying busy. She’s working through the last stages of housebreaking and crate training, so her new family should be ready to continue her learning and offer support. She’s already spayed and her vaccinations are up to date.
