Dani Mar is a small, timid Maltese/Poodle mix searching for a patient, experienced adopter who understands what it means to help a shy dog blossom. Raised in a breeding facility with very little human contact, she's just beginning to figure out what it's like to live as someone’s pet. Underneath all that uncertainty is a gentle soul with sweet potential waiting to emerge. Dani feels safest around other dogs and absolutely needs a small, confident canine companion in her new home—she won't be placed without one. Dani is not a fit for houses with young kids, lots of activity, or frequent guests. Teenagers with dog experience who know to go slow are possible, but only if they respect her space and routine. She prefers dogs to people and will require plenty of time, patience, and structure to feel secure. With the right home and calm approach, Dani may well reveal herself as a top-notch cuddler.
