Virginia is a beautiful Carolina Dog mix with a short, yellow, tan, and black coat, estimated to be around three years old and weighing about 35 pounds. This sweet girl had a tough start in life—she was found abandoned at a coal mine in Virginia after having multiple litters, but thanks to a kind family and a dedicated rescue, she is now safe and flourishing. Virginia may be a bit timid or reserved when you first meet her, but she doesn't take long to warm up. Her loving and loyal nature shines through, and she has proven herself to be both affectionate and friendly. Virginia is crate trained and making great strides with her house and leash training. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, as well as adults and children. Now spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated, she is ready for her forever home. Virginia's gentle, shy personality and her journey of transformation show how resilient and loving she truly is.
