About Emily
Emily is a short, stocky Staffordshire terrier mix with a thick frame and a gentle soul. At around 2.5 years old, she is crate and leash trained, and picking up on housetraining. Emily gets along well with other dogs but tends to show too much curiosity around cats, so she may do best in a home without them or with slow introductions. She starts out a little shy with new people, but once she feels safe, her warm and playful side comes out. Emily is affectionate, friendly with kids and adults, and enjoys being part of the action once she settles in. Found abandoned on a dirt road with her pups (who’ve since found homes), Emily has overcome a lot and is ready for her own stable, loving family. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccinations and preventatives. Emily is still working on perfecting her housetraining, but with consistency and patience, she'll thrive. If you're looking for a loyal dog who just needs a soft place to land, Emily might be exactly who you’re looking for. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
