About Ruff Happy Dog
Ruff is a young adult, large-breed mix with an easygoing spirit and a look that stands out. Recently, he's spent more time in a kennel than any dog should, so heās searching for a foster or forever home where he can relax and get back into family life. Ruff has already shown he can adjust well to a householdāheās polite and really enjoys being petted, plus heās got a soft spot for toys and rarely heads out for a walk without a stuffed animal in his mouth. Leash walks are a highlight, and Ruff is generally good on leash, though he does pull when he first gets excited. Heās eager to learn and already knows "sit"āwith the right person, he'll pick up even more. A playful side comes out when heās around toys, but downtime is equally important to him; heās just as happy taking a nap next to someone he trusts. While heās done well with a respectful older child in his foster home, Ruff isnāt suited to living with cats, but he does get along with other dogs. He needs someone able to handle his size and energy, especially during walks. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
