Bee Bee is a people pleaser and warms up quickly when given some training exercises and some treat rewards. She isn't much of a puller, she prefers her walks to be more casual, taking in all of the smells around her. When it's time to get some zoomies out, she enjoys engaging in some run & freeze games with her handlers. She will begin to show her soft and affectionate side once she is comfortable with you and opens up for lots of pets and attention. Bee Bee did previously live in a home with other dogs and did well though, she has been a bit nervous around some of the louder dogs here at the shelter. Adopters should be prepared to do a full 2 week shut-down followed by slow and gradual introductions if they have resident pets at home. Bee Bee also did well living in a home with children of all ages and her previous family stated that she loved the kids. They also described her as calm and protective. Bee Bee is very treat motivated and catches on to training quickly, she knows sit and paw and is full house broken as well as crate trained! This pet is up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Adoption hours are 12-5pm daily (arrive by 4:30) at 13800 Manor Road in Baldwin.
