Meet Mocha Josie Juniper - a 10-month-old (5/5) Lab / Hound mix, who weighs 65 pounds (as of 5/5/26). She and her JUNIPER litter were found as strays in Tennessee and are looking for their forever families! UPDATE: Mocha Josie Juniper is a sweet, playful, energetic teenager. Currently about 65 lbs at 10 months, we think she is a mix between a Plott Hound and Great Dane. She loves fetch, doggie daycare, chew toys, belly rubs, and lounging on the couch for naps. Her personality makes her easy to fall in love with. She learns commands quickly and wants to please her humans. Mocha settles into her crate at night, has shown vast improvements in walking well on a front-clip harness, and is working on learning to control her enthusiasm when meeting new humans and play biting. She is a bit of scaredy-cat but has easily gained confidence navigating busier sidewalks and streets, as she encounters new sounds and objects. She would benefit from a situation where she is well exercised, mentally stimulated, and has humans who would enjoy continuing to work on her training. Mocha is a tall girl, so it is important for her to continue to learn how to manage her energy and long limbs! She's crate trained, walks well on a leash well (using a harness, wears a collar for ticks), rides in cars, and is housebroken! Go Mocha! While she still needs more obedience training, she knows how to "sit, crate, wait and eat." Mocha can be a bit jumpy at times but that's just 'cause she's so excited to make new friends!
