About Hope
Hope's story has been nothing short of a journey. Now, she's searching for her last and most important stop—a real home. She's about two years old and weighs around 40 pounds. Hope is a mixed breed dog with American Pit Bull Terrier and German Shepherd roots. You can even see her DNA report if you're curious. Through several foster homes, she has shown she gets along well with dogs—her favorite playmates have become dear friends. Hope also coexists peacefully with cats and does well with children. This medium-sized girl is reliable on a leash, enjoys car rides, and respects the house—no crate necessary though she’s fine with having one available. A fenced yard and a playful canine companion would be her ideal setup. Hope thrives in calmer environments rather than busy dog parks or packed outings, but she’s great in the car and is always up for a ride or a quiet trip. With time and stability, she’ll likely open up and be happier with mellow adventures. She's been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Hope has also faced challenges: she’s been treated for heartworm and has adapted beautifully after a front leg amputation. Her resilience is something you feel when you meet her. All she’s waiting for is a place to belong. Click apply to start the adoption process.
