About Layla & Artie

Layla & Artie are a bonded pair of American Staffordshire Terriers looking for a committed adopter who can keep them together. Both are around 9 years old and have lived closely with people, but they’re reactive to other dogs and aren’t a good fit for a home with cats. They’d do best with dog-savvy older kids who understand boundaries. Both Artie and Layla are crate and potty trained, making daily routines easier. Artie, the white one, is gentle-natured even after having his ears mutilated earlier in life. He enjoys brief spurts of play but mostly just wants to sprawl on the couch or be brushed. He listens well and knows a set of commands. Layla, the brown female, is known for being talkative and outgoing. Like Artie, she’s crate and potty-trained. Both are seniors now, content with a quieter household. Think you can give them the quiet, stable life they deserve? Click apply to start the adoption process.
