Bubba is a survivor in every sense of the word. After being abandoned and left in terrible condition, he made it through a brutal attempt on his life that left him with a severe neck wound and an injured eye. He went through three surgeries to repair his neck, and the eye—though improving—still affects his vision on the right side. Bubba’s also overcome demodectic mange and completed heartworm treatment, putting much of the tough times behind him. Despite all this, Bubba absolutely lights up around people. He trusts humans and has a real need for connection. Other pets are not a good fit—he’s uneasy with animals, likely because of trauma and lingering sight issues. At home, expect a loving, loyal, and occasionally goofy presence who wants nothing more than to be your best companion. He’s house trained, neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
