Mr. Pickles was surrendered to us after his owner could no longer care for him. He is unsure of the shelter, so he is sometimes scared of sudden movements and loud noises. After he is comfortable, he will approach for pets. He seems like a couch potato that is content to lay in bed or in your lap. Can’t go wrong with a love bug! He is quiet and well-behaved. He is house-trained and doesn’t seem bothered by the other dogs, though we are unsure about cats. Meet-and-greats are recommended. Mr. Pickles would love a calm and quiet home. He needs an owner that will help him on his weight loss journey. Due to his weight and age, a home without stairs may be best. He is new to the shelter, so we are still getting to know him! After he gets used to the environment, we hope he will start to come out of his shell.
