About Lacey

Lacey is a gentle, brown beagle mix who originally came to the rescue after being surrendered by her owner. She’s about five years old, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Lacey is heartworm positive, and her new family should have experience navigating heartworm treatment. All of her treatments, following the American Heartworm Society's protocol, are covered by the rescue and administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas. Lacey is laid back and happiest by your side, but she also truly enjoys the company of other dogs. Given her needs, a fenced-in backyard is a must so she can recover safely as she undergoes treatment. She’s house trained and ready for a stable environment to heal and settle in. Fun fact: Lacey is an Aries—expect plenty of quiet determination and a steady spirit. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
