My name is Brian and I am looking for a forever home. I found myself at a scary place called a shelter in rural south Georgia where I was waiting to get adopted and then something happened and they said they needed to move as many of us as possible (we found out later it had something to do with some really bad fires). A small local rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said, "of course!". So now myself and some of the friends I made at the shelter found ourselves in a foster home and are coming to New Jersey on Saturday, May 16th. A little about myself: I appear to be a fluffy white mix and the best guess is maybe a maltese with a poodle ... in other words, a malti-poo. The vet thinks I'm about 18 months old and I weigh a little over 11lbs and am not expected to get any bigger. I am a little shy when I first meet new people but it didn't take me long to learn that my foster parents were nice and now I love getting attention. I have gotten along with all of the other small/medium dogs I have met and I don't bother those things called cats. I've done pretty good in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding, and I even share it with one of my friends I came into foster without any issues. I'm a little bit of a slow eater and my friend will try and get my food, too, so since I would just back away she separates me from him for eating.
