About Bonnie ~ Special Girl
Bonnie ~ Special Girl is a 6-month-old brindle Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, getting ready to make her journey to New England at no extra cost to you. Rescued as a tiny, 2-pound puppy from a garbage dump in Mississippi, Bonnie has grown into a confident, bright, and deeply social dog. She was diagnosed early with Megaesophagus, so she’ll need an owner ready to learn and adapt—extra love and extra care go hand in hand for her. Despite these challenges, Bonnie has not just survived, but thrives in her foster home, winning over everyone she meets. She gets along famously with kids, cats, and dogs of every size. Full of energy, Bonnie is playful, expressive, and already comfortable with crates and kennels. House training and learning the leash are still on her to-do list, but her intelligence and eagerness promise fast progress for a committed adopter. Bonnie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and looking for someone who can appreciate her big heart and special needs. She deserves the best, and she’s ready for the next chapter.
