Apollo
AvailableAbout Apollo
Apollo isn’t for just anyone—he’s particular about his friends and doesn’t tolerate small dogs at all. He’ll need a home without small children, and teenage or older kids who can respect his space would be best. Apollo is bonded to his brother Zeus; they’ve never been apart and need to be adopted together, with one adoption fee covering both. New situations, people, and touch make Apollo anxious, so expect a slow adjustment, especially to a busy household. He does warm up once he trusts you and, while he’s shy at first, his affectionate nature does come through with time. Shelter life has been stressful for him, so a stable, patient, and calm environment is essential. Apollo can get frustrated easily if pushed or overwhelmed, and he’ll need positive ways to burn off his energy, preferably in a home with room to run and opportunities to decompress. He’s never learned to live with cats and needs a feline-free environment. If you already have a dog, you’ll need to bring them in for a meet-and-greet—he’s choosy about canine company and won’t accept smaller breeds. Apollo and Zeus are both good boys at heart for someone willing to invest time and understanding. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
