Zeus is a sensitive soul who needs a calm, steady home. He’s a large mastiff/boxer mix, and he’s particular about who he considers a friend—he’s not interested in hanging out with small dogs or cats, so any home for Zeus should be feline-free and without small breed pups. Zeus is deeply bonded to his brother Apollo, and they must be adopted together; they truly rely on each other. He can be anxious in new places and around unfamiliar faces, preferring to approach life at his own pace. Sudden changes or too much stimulation won’t suit him. He’ll need positive outlets for his energy, plenty of room to stretch out, and a patient adopter willing to give him time and space to settle. Meet-and-greets with any resident dogs are encouraged to make sure everyone gets along.
