About Winnie
Winnie spent months waiting at a rural bus stop in South Georgia before anyone noticed she needed help. She’s a striking brindle girl, about five and a half, who likes a peaceful home where she can sunbathe and nap on a soft couch. Winnie is laid-back and independent but gets along with other dogs and enjoys gentle company, whether from a canine friend or the kids in your home. She’s also good with cats, which opens up options for multi-pet families. Winnie tested positive for heartworm, like many rural rescues, but is already on a proven treatment protocol through her rescue. All medication is provided, and most dogs recover fully with no lingering effects. Vaccinations are current, and Winnie has been spayed. She’s also house trained, making her a practical choice for someone who appreciates a calm, loyal companion. Winnie is ready to settle into a quieter life—preferably as a cherished member of her new family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
