About Jet
Jet is a one-year-old, 60-pound pittie-mix whose energy is matched only by his dedication to his people. He’s still settling into adulthood and figuring out how to manage all that enthusiasm—sometimes, it spills over, especially if he gets bored or lonely. Separation anxiety is a real challenge for Jet, and if left understimulated, he’ll find creative (and often destructive) ways to pass the time. Given a structured environment and a person willing to stick with him, Jet’s got the heart and drive to learn. He craves direction, responds well to clear boundaries, and is a fast learner when positive reinforcement is the game. Jet needs someone ready to put in the work, ideally with support from a trainer, to help him build up his confidence and independence. This isn’t an entry-level dog. Jet would do best with someone experienced in handling high-energy, young dogs who won’t cut corners on training and engagement. He gets along with other dogs and children, but not cats.
