Meet Luffy, a seven-month-old Pit/Spaniel mix weighing 35 pounds. Luffy is a shy but very sweet boy who’s just waiting for the right person to help him come out of his shell. He was owner-surrendered due to having too many animals, and now he’s getting his chance to learn what a stable, loving home really feels like. He can be a little unsure at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a good boy who truly wants to connect. With patience, kindness, and some basic socializing, Luffy is sure to gain confidence and show off more of his gentle personality. He’ll also need some work on leash training, but with consistency and encouragement, he’ll get there. Luffy is also one of a kind when it comes to his looks and personality—his DNA results are a unique blend of 32.3% Pit Bull, 22.6% Chihuahua, 10% Chow Chow, and 7.5% Cocker Spaniel, plus 27.6% "Supermutt," which includes Husky, Boxer, Poodle, and German Shepherd. It’s a mix that makes him as special on the inside as he is on the outside. Luffy is looking for a patient home that will help him build confidence, continue his training, and show him all the love he’s been missing.
