About Keesha

Keesha’s adoption fee is only $50 because finding her a great home matters more than anything else. She came from a packed shelter, where she spent close to a year before finally getting a chance to stretch her legs and play. Now that she’s had room to run, Keesha is ready for something stable—a family to shower with affection. She’s a classic, loving pit/lab mix: eager to be with her people, always up for a good cuddle, and generous with her kisses (beware, they can be wet!). Keesha loves interacting with other dogs. She usually wants to play and gets along with most, though she likes to be in charge and does better with medium or larger, more easygoing canine companions. For small dogs, her size and energy could be too much—she just can’t help herself when she’s happy. She’s met cats, too: curious but never aggressive, and slow introductions are suggested for new feline roommates. Around teens, she’s been a delight, and with younger kids (6+), her excitement means supervision is a must. She’s house trained, knows basic commands, does well on a leash after the first excited minutes, and loves riding in the car. Keesha has no known medical issues or bad habits, aside from her eagerness to greet (including a jumpy hug routine you can train away if needed). In Selah, WA, and happy to meet her new family halfway if you’re not local. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
