About Appletini
Appletini, affectionately called Tini, has been with her foster for several months and has made huge strides in coming out of her shell. She started out anxious, unsure about people, but gradually her confidence blossomed with patient guidance and the company of other dogs. Tini adores other dogs and has a playful friendship with the foster’s resident cat. She’s even met children and handled it well, though the ideal home has older kids or adults who understand shy dogs and can go slow with introductions. She’s leash, crate, and house trained, medium-sized, and has an expressive face with standout eyebrows. Her mixed American Staffordshire Terrier and Australian Shepherd lineage gives her a blend of colors and a unique coat. Appletini recently began anti-anxiety medication which has helped her feel comfortable. She does well in a home with other friendly dogs and needs a securely fenced yard where she can explore and play while feeling safe. Her adopter should have some dog experience, a calm home, and patience for her to settle in. Tini’s adoption comes with a full goody bag and all her medical records, and Save-A-Mutt may request adopters complete a basic training course. All adoptions are done locally in Washington—no shipping or distant transport. If you’re ready for a loyal, quirky sidekick, Appletini is waiting in Silvana, WA.
