About Chrissy

Chrissy is a soft-hearted, five-year-old Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler who spent most of her life chained up outdoors until she was surrendered and delivered a dozen puppies in rescue. Now healthy and fully vetted, she's looking for a foster or her forever home in the DFW area. Chrissy is snuggly and thrives on close human companionship. She loves to play, chase the occasional squirrel, nap on the couch, and run around the backyard. Her recall is excellent, and she's naturally athletic. Chrissy forms bonds quickly—she's truly a "people person" and prefers to soak up all the love and attention for herself, making her best suited to a home where she's the only pet. So far, Chrissy is not house trained. With her affectionate, playful spirit, she's ready for a person (or family) who wants a devoted companion ready to connect. Fun fact: Chrissy is an Aries, so she’s got determination and energy to spare! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
