Every angel just needs a little patience and a lot of love. I’m Angel — a 25 pound, one year old Frenchie and Terrier bully breed mix girl with a gentle soul and an adorable overbite that gives me extra character and charm. I’m house-trained and crate-trained, and I know my commands very well. Down is my specialty, and I also understand off, up, come, kennel, and bed. I like routines, calm voices, and knowing what’s expected of me. It helps me feel safe. I’m laid-back most of the time, but I do get joyful bursts of zoomies where I race around the backyard and happily chase a ball. Fetch is one of my favorite things, along with tossing my toys around and entertaining myself. I do best with an active person or older kids (12+) who enjoy outdoor play and gentle encouragement. I get along wonderfully with dogs and cats. I will need another confident and playful dog in the household to help me adjust and feel more confident and secure.. I am doing well with leash walking and need a home with a privacy fence where I can feel secure. Invisible fencing and Apartment settings will not be considered. I take daily medication for anxiety and acid reflux, which together cost about $20 a month, this cost however can vary due to private vet clinic charges. Even with medication, I am still sensitive to new things and unfamiliar situations. I need a patient, understanding person in a calm environment, preferably a smaller household of people, who will move at my pace and help me learn that the world can be kind and gentle. I am not difficult — I am just learning. With consistency, reassurance, and love, I have so much potential to become an amazing companion. I want to trust, to feel safe, and to belong. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
