Every Angel just needs a patient hand and a lot of love. Angel’s a 25-pound, one-year-old French Bulldog and American Bully mix with a gentle soul and the kind of crooked, lovable overbite that makes her unforgettable. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her commands inside and out—“down” is her specialty, but she responds to “off,” “up,” “come,” “kennel,” and “bed” too. Angel prefers calm voices and routines; she feels safest when she knows what to expect. Most of her time she’s laid-back, but she gets a sudden case of the zoomies out in the backyard and loves nothing more than fetch and tossing her toys around. Angel flourishes with active people or older kids (12+) who appreciate her favorite games and gentle encouragement. She gets along beautifully with dogs and cats; she’ll need a confident, playful dog friend in the home to help her feel secure. She’s coming along with leash walking and needs a house with a privacy fence—apartments or invisible fencing won’t work for her. Angel takes daily medicine for anxiety and acid reflux (about $20/month, though prices vary), and she’s sensitive to new situations, so give her a little space and patience as she learns to trust.
