About Trouble
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Trouble lost her world when her owner passed away, finding herself in a brand new environment and separated from her furry friends. Now a petite, scruffy 15 lb Yorkie mix around 6–7 years old, she’s proving to be anything but trouble. After about a month in foster care, she has started letting her sweet and gentle personality shine, though she remains shy and unsure in new situations. She longs for love and will approach for affection at her own pace, becoming a loyal little shadow to those she trusts. She does incredibly well on puppy pads and is getting used to leash walking, enjoying the outdoors even as she gets comfortable with a harness. Trouble is easygoing with other dogs, interacts calmly with cats, and showed she can be gentle around children. She will blossom best in a quiet, patient home—ideally with a female adopter—who can help her feel safe as she heals and learns to trust again. She loves soft places to hide and emerging to snuggle when ready. Freshly groomed and with a recent dental, Trouble is set for a fresh start. She needs a patient hand and a loving heart to help her build confidence and discover the joys of a new life. Offering her such a chance will earn you a truly devoted companion.
