About Winky
Meet Winky. She’s a three-year-old, spayed black Domestic Shorthair who’s come a long way since her tough start. Winky arrived at rescue underweight, fighting an upper respiratory infection, covered in fleas, and with a ruptured eye that ultimately had to be removed. She's healed up thanks to diligent care and is now a quiet, healthy presence in her foster home. Winky isn’t a lap cat but she likes being around her people, quietly keeping you company. She’s reserved about physical affection and prefers someone who’s patient—someone who will let her set her own pace for interaction and respect her boundaries. Offer her canned food and you’ll find it’s the way to her heart. Winky uses her litter box reliably and prefers slow introductions to new pets. She’s especially comfortable with other cats and would do well in a home with a friendly, calm feline for company. Her medical care is up to date, she’s microchipped and will come with her adoption paperwork and transition support. The adoption team at Pawsitive Cause will make sure you have everything you need for a smooth start. Winky is looking for a calm, patient home where she can quietly belong. As a fun fact, Winky is a Libra, which might explain her affinity for balance and harmony. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
