He arrived as a kitten with a tough start, battling the wet form of FIP and several parasitesāheās completed treatment, but a vet check before bringing him home is highly recommended. Petey had a rare dental issue that required most of his baby teeth to be removed, which uncovered and resolved his pain and a nasal polyp that explained his upper respiratory symptoms. He eats a fiber-dense diet, prefers dry food, and enjoys wet food with lots of gravy, though he can be a little picky. Petey shines in any environmentāheās friendly, social, and gets along with other cats, calm dogs, and children. Heās been a wonderful therapy cat at school presentations, craving attention and curling up with anyone willing to give him a nap spot. Petey uses litter boxes perfectly and will adjust best with gradual introductions to new rooms and animals. All appropriate vaccinations, microchip, monthly preventatives, and general vet care are up to date. His rescue provides support and covers a follow-up fecal test and any required dewormer after you bring him home.
