MEET ARTIE!! Artie is a 10 wk old chihuahua mix. He currently weighs 6 lbs and most likely will be under 25 lbs as an adult. He is a very sweet boy who loves to be held, is very gentle and loves attention. Artie is very playful, but does settle down for a nap several times throughout the day. He does not have short stubby legs like his siblings, but he does have a little curl in his tail. He sleeps through the night in a pen with his siblings. If Artie seems like the perfect fit for your family, please apply. Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
