Koko is a 5-month-old chocolate Lab mix with a big personality and even bigger zoomies! This playful, high-energy pup is always ready for fun-whether it's chasing toys, romping around with our other dogs, or cuddling up for a power nap. So far he is great with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion or a young tween to help him burn off some of that puppy energy. He's already showing how smart he is by responding to the "sit" command, and with a little consistency and patience, he's sure to pick up even more in no time. Like any young pup, Koko is still working on his potty training and polishing up his puppy manners. He would do great in a home that's ready to continue his training and give him the structure he needs to grow into an amazing and beautiful adult dog. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup who will keep you smiling and active, Koko might just be your perfect match! Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
