Neo is about 8 years old and weighs around 15 lbs—a resilient little pup with a gentle soul. Found near railroad tracks and treated for pneumonia, Neo has pushed through a tough start. He’s now feeling much better, but he’s medically fragile, with a severe collapsing trachea and an enlarged heart. He’ll need ongoing medication and extra care, so a dedicated family is a must. Neo gets along well with friendly dogs of all sizes in his foster home and has adjusted to living alongside cats, though he'd do best with older children as young kids could startle him. This sweet guy has a warm, friendly personality and a moderate energy level. He’s happiest around his people, enjoys walks (with a harness only), and sometimes can be a goofy, playful companion. Neo is house trained on a schedule and is improving every day. He can be a bit vocal when excited, loves toys, and enjoys prancing on his walks, but should only spend limited time outside in hot or humid weather. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Dental care is tricky due to his health, but over-the-counter options (with a vet's OK) can help.
