Despite his health challenges—including a collapsing trachea and an enlarged heart—Neo is feeling much better and is ready to find a forever home that can provide ongoing medical care and medication to keep him happy and healthy. Neo enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with the varied pack in his foster home. He’s learned to be calm around cats, and while cats can all be different, he’s shown he can adapt. Neo would do best in a home with older children, as younger ones may spook him and result in a nip. His gentle, friendly nature shines through; he loves to be around his people, whether snuggled in a lap or simply hanging out nearby. He can be vocal when happy and has an adorable routine of rolling on the floor, showing his playful and silly side. Training is ongoing for Neo, and he responds to his harness, comes when called, and is learning to improve his potty habits on a schedule—he’s not crated and seems to do well. It's important to note that due to his trachea condition, only a harness should be used on walks, and extra caution is needed in hot weather. Neo loves outdoor time in moderation, enjoys toys, and thrives on attention and gentle play. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations.
