Gunner came from a challenging background but is now looking for a new start with a dedicated adopter who understands the needs of Shelties.

About Gunner

Gunner is a beautiful tri-color Sheltie who came from a tough background. After his owner passed, Gunner and his five brothers were all rescued; they’d spent their lives as breeding dogs. He’s an attractive, even-tempered Sheltie but has a lot to learn about living as a companion. Gunner has never been an only dog, so he would do best in a home with another Sheltie close to his age and size. He isn’t house trained yet and will need an adopter ready to commit to obedience classes and routines. A securely fenced yard is important for him, and he thrives best alongside another dog. With patience and consistency, Gunner is ready to make the leap into family life. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
