Emma is a young female Shetland Sheepdog with a long, sable coat living in Palm Bay, FL. She is now fully house trained and has been spayed. Emma is up to date on vaccinations and does best with other dogs, especially another Sheltie her size and age. Because of her background, she does need a supportive and structured environment.

About Emma

Emma spent her early years as a breeder dog and is still learning what it means to just be a pet. She’s a small sable Sheltie with a long, beautiful coat and a gentle, somewhat shy demeanor. Emma is house trained now and reliably goes outside. She’s happiest with another Sheltie of similar size and age who can show her the ropes. She needs a home with a fenced yard—she loves to run, play, and even chase the neighborhood squirrels. Emma picks up new commands quickly, enjoys attending obedience classes, and loves both learning and playing. Emma does not get along with cats or children but does well with other dogs her size. Her ideal family is patient, has Sheltie experience, and is committed to continued training and companionship. She will need a Sheltie companion in the household. Give her structure, love, and time, and you’ll have a happy, loyal friend for life. Start your journey together! Apply now.
