About Bartie

Bartie is a lively, affectionate Sheltie who’s looking for a fresh start after the passing of his previous owner. Used for breeding, he’s one of five Shelties recently brought into rescue and is now adjusting to a more playful, everyday life. Bartie thrives on playing with his foster Sheltie companions and needs a home with another Sheltie of similar size and age. He’ll do best with a securely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and burn off some of that energy. Obedience classes will be essential for him, given his background and eagerness to learn. Bartie isn’t yet house trained, so patience and consistency will go a long way. Underneath his excited exterior, he’s truly a diamond in the rough and ready for someone to help him shine. His adoption fee is sponsored. Click apply to start the adoption process.
