Dog's Name: Babe Stormy (STO0426ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Australian Shepherd mix Approximate Age: DOB 03/12/2026 Approximate Weight: 5 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there! I'm Babe Stormy, and I'm ready to blow into your life and steal your heart! I'm part of the adorable Weather Litter—my siblings are Ray, Sunny, and Thunder. Our mom looks like an Australian Shepherd mix, but she's a tiny little thing at just 22 pounds (picture included). We started out in a very crowded shelter in Alabama where not many pups were getting adopted. Luckily, the wonderful people at K-9 Lifesavers rescued us and brought us to safety. Now I'm living in a cozy foster home and dreaming about the day I find my forever family. I'm a sweet, playful puppy who loves exploring the world and making new friends. I really enjoy being around other dogs and would be happy to have a furry buddy to play with. I'm also at the perfect age to learn all the important puppy things—like training, manners, and how to be the very best companion. If you're looking for a little pup to bring joy, fun, and lots of tail wags into your life, I just might be your girl. Come meet Babe Stormy and let's weather life's adventures together! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
