After a journey that began in a shelter and led to a caring rescue, he’s been thriving in his current vet clinic environment. Nelson’s warmth shines through as he quietly enjoys the company of people, easily building trust at his own pace and revealing a soft, easygoing side once he feels comfortable. On a leash, Nelson is a true gentleman—calm, composed, and unfazed by everyday noises, making walks a peaceful experience. He rarely barks and is happiest just soaking in tranquil moments. Nelson is house-trained and not food aggressive, tending to eat at his own relaxed pace. When it comes to other dogs, he shows curiosity and a friendly interest, suggesting he could be an excellent canine friend. He hasn’t yet spent time with cats but seems open to new experiences if given the chance.
